How to add a sidebar to your blog

You have the ability to select whether or not you wish to show a sidebar on your blog.

  1. First you will need to have created the blog page via the Admin bar of the main Dashboard.

  1. Now you have your page created you will need to access the 'Customizer' in the top Admin bar of the website. In the Customizer, select the option 'Content'.


You will see the following options:


  1. By selecting 'Blog Layout' you will see the available options for the Blog and single post pages.


  1. Here you have the ability to select from the 'Sidebar Position' drop-down whether you wish to even show a sidebar, and if you do whether you want it to be right or left aligned.

  1. You have the ability to set the size that you wish the sidebar to be as well as whether it should only be shown on Desktop view.

  1. Once you are happy with your settings click 'Publish' (top right corner) and these settings will be made live on your site.
